Terms of Service

Last updated: July 4, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Shotpilot desktop application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Daniele Zotta ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Shotpilot is a desktop tool for capturing, composing, and exporting app-store screenshots from connected Android devices via ADB. The desktop app can work with local capture/export workflows, and when you save or sync a project to your account your screenshots, thumbnails, device metadata, and project files are uploaded to our cloud storage so they are available across your devices and team. See our Privacy Policy for details on how content and account data are handled.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase a subscription. If you use Shotpilot on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation.

3. Plans, billing, and merchant of record

Paid plans are offered on a subscription basis. The current public prices and included seats are shown on the pricing page and at checkout before you pay. Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Payments are processed by our authorized reseller and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, billing, payment methods, invoices, and applicable taxes on our behalf. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically on the billing period you choose until cancelled.

4. Licence

Subject to these Terms and an active subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Service for your own or your organization's internal use. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or redistribute the Service except as permitted by law.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the screenshots, project files, and other content you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, back up, transmit, and display that content solely to provide, secure, and support the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights needed to upload and use your content with Shotpilot.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, infringe intellectual property, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure. You must not attempt to bypass security controls, access another user's account or files, upload malware, or use the Service to process content that you are not legally allowed to process. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms or create security, legal, or operational risk.

7. Cancellation, refunds, and consumer rights

You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Our refund policy is a commercial guarantee in addition to any mandatory legal rights you may have. If you are a consumer in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, nothing in these Terms limits your statutory withdrawal, conformity, refund, or cancellation rights. Where the law requires express consent or acknowledgement before immediate digital access affects a withdrawal right, that consent must be collected during checkout or in the purchase confirmation flow.

8. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service where reasonably necessary, including for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or product changes.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, unless mandatory law says otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer-law remedies.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Where required by law or where changes materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory protections and forum rights provided by the law of your country of residence.
